More than a billion people have used the social networking site Facebook in a single day for the first time in its history.On August 24th, Monday, 1 in 7 people on Earth used Facebook to connect with their friends and family.
In a post on the personal page of chief executive and co-founder Mark Zuckerberg said “We just passed an important milestone. For the first time ever, one billion people used Facebook in a single day."
