Bangladesh executed two opposition leaders on Sunday for war crimes committed during the 1971 war to separate from Pakistan, a senior police official said. Prison officials say Salahuddin Qua-der Chowdhury and Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid were hanged together shortly after midnight on Sunday at Dhaka Central Jail.
