Japanese media reported an explosion was heard at Japan's controversial war-linked Yasukuni Shrine in downtown Tokyo at around 10 a.m. local time on Monday. Japan's public broadcaster, NHK, said the explosion site was found in a toilet around the shrine's south gate, with parts of the toilet's walls and ceilings damaged.
