A bomb blast ripped through a crowded bazaar in a mainly Shiite area of Pakistan's northwestern tribal region on Sunday, killing at least 12 people and wounding dozens more, officials said. Officials say the death toll is likely to rise and the initial investigations show a bomb was planted inside a shop and detonated with a remote-controlled device. No one has immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
