A FIFA ethics committee has banned Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini from all football-related activity for eight years for abuse of power. The court found the pair guilty of abusing their positions over a 2-million-US-dollar payment. The committee fined Blatter and Platini 50,000 and 80,000 Swiss francs, respectively.
