New Star Wars movie smashes box office record

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has smashed the box office record, becoming the biggest North American film debut of all time. According to studio estimates, the movie took 238 million US dollars over the weekend, far surpassing the previous opening high of 209 million set by Universal's "Jurassic World".
