Storms kill 25 in southern US
In Texas, US, a tornado HAS knocked cars off highways and flattened homes. The incident is the latest in a string of powerful storms to hit the southern half of America, which have so far killed 25 people. The tornado snapped power cables and knocked over electricity pylons, leaving some 50,000 homes in the dark. Extensive damage to vehicles and houses has also been reported across the state. The storms and tornados -which are believed to be caused by unseasonably warm air - have left a trail of destruction in rural communities from Alabama to Illinois.
