A senior Turkish official said on Monday that Turkey has not withdrawn any troops from Iraq in response to a 48-hour ultimatum from Baghdad. The official also said Ankara was in discussions with Iraq's Defense Ministry and may reduce the size of its forces. Iraq said Sunday it would give Turkey 48 hours to withdraw forces or face "all available options", including recourse to the UN Security Council.
